General Overview

  • Warriors picked up increased melee range across the board. Warrior special abilities can now strike from just outside of melee range.
  • A number of weak warrior skills were buffed to scale better with better gear including Rend and Revenge.
  • Warriors can now spec for in-combat health regeneration granting a bunch of sustained and outdoor environments. Troll warriors can go even further, stacking their racial with the talent to achieve excellent sustain!
  • While each of the warrior trees kept its primary theme there are some interesting new talents in each:
    • Arms picks up Parabellum, which reduces all of your cooldowns.
    • Fury gets Berserker's Blood, which grants attack speed and spell damage reduce as your health drops.
    • Protection gets a huge damage tool in Constitution, which grants a percentage of your health as strength and makes you immune to poison and diseases shile at high health.

  • Shield Reflection - Raise your shield, reflecting spell cast on you. Lasts 5 seconds, but will only reflect only 1 spell. Costs 15 rage, instant, 40 seconds cooldown, requires Shields. Usable only in Defensive Stance.

  • Shield Toss - Hurls a shield at the enemy, causing decent amount of damage, increased my Attack Power and knocks down for 2 sec. This ability causes a high amount of threat. Costs 15 rage, 5 - 30 yd range, instant, 60 seconds cooldown, requires Shields. Usable only in Defensive Stance.

  • Thunder Clap (Rank 1-6) - cooldown increased from 4 to 8 seconds. 10% slow effect affects also movement speed of enemies. Damage sligtly increased. The number of targets hit by this ability has been increased from 4 to 8. Now causes high amount of threat.

New Talents

Arms

  • Maim - adds to autoattacks 10% chance to apply bleeding type debuff that increase physical damage recieved by target by 5% for 10/20/30 seconds.
  • Para Bellum - reduces cooldown of all abilites by 4/8/12/16/20%. Effect takes the ability's original cooldown and stacks with all other cooldown reduction effects.
  • Dog of War - reduces Rage cost of all abilities by 4/8/12/16/20%. Effect takes the ability's original cost and stacks with all other cost reduction effects.
  • Improved Mortal Strike - reduces cooldown of Mortal Strike by 0.5/1 seconds.

Fury

  • Combat Endurance - allows 5/10/15% of your Health regeneration work while in combat. Effect stacks with all other health regeneration effects.
  • Berserker's Blood - the less Health you have the more attack speed and spell damage reduction you recieve, up to 40%. With 1/5 talent points effect works on fully power when you have 1% HP, with 5/5 talent points effect works on fully power when you have 40% HP.
  • Improved Bloodthirst - reduces cost of Bloodhirst by 5/10 Rage.

Protection

  • Blade Mail - when struck in combat inflicts up to 12/24/36 (damage scales with level, these numbers for level 60) damage to the attacker.
  • Shield Toss - new ability. Hurls a shield at the enemy, causing decent amount of damage, increased my Attack Power and knocks down for 2 sec. This ability causes a high amount of threat. Costs 15 rage, 5 - 30 yd range, instant, 60 seconds cooldown, requires Shields. Usable only in Defensive Stance.
  • Training and Discipline - reduces cost of all abilities by 1/2/3 Rage. Mandatory talent to take Discipline.
  • Vitality - increases maximum Health and healing taken by 2/4/6/8/10%.
  • Butterfly Style - increases chance to dodge by 1/2/3/4/5% and makes your dodges and parries generate 20/40/60/80/100% of Rage, like if you got hit by attack.
  • Constitusion - increases your Strength by up to 1% of your current Health. If you have more than 50% Health you become immune to Diseases, and if you have more than 75% Health you become immune to Poisons.

Redesigned Talents

Arms

  • Improved Heroic Strike - no longer reduces cost of Heroic Strike, instead increases critical strike chance with this ability by 2/4/6/8/10%. Number of ranks increased from 3 to 5.
  • Tactical Mastery - number of ranks reduced from 5 to 3. Now allows to retain 15/25/35 Rage when you change stance, up from 5/10/15/20/25 in Classic. Moved from second to the first talent tier .
  • Deflection - number of ranks reduced from 5 to 2. Now increases Parry chance by 2/4%, instead of 1/2/3/4/5% in Classic. Mandatory talent to take Duelist.
  • Improved Charge - number of ranks increased from 2 to 3. Now increases amount of Rage generated by Charge by 5/10/15, up from 3/6 Rage in Classic.
  • Duelist - replaced the talent Improved Overpower. Now increases critical strike chance for Overpower and Revenge. Also, reduces cooldown of Retaliation ability by 25/50%. Moved from third to second talent tier.
